When to visit Seoul
Looking for warm weather? Then head to Seoul in August, when the average temperature is 77 °F, and the highest can go up to 82.4 °F. The coldest month, on the other hand, is January, when it can get as cold as 32 °F, with an average temperature of 35.6 °F. You’re likely to see more rain in July, when precipitation is around 10″. In contrast, December is usually the driest month of the year in Seoul, with an average rainfall of 1.1″.
How to Get to Seoul
Plane
When flying to Seoul, you’ll arrive at Seoul Gimpo Intl (GMP), which is located 10 miles from the city center. The shortest flight to Seoul from the United States departs from Honolulu and takes around 9h 40m.
Train
Located 4 miles from the city center, Seoul Cheongnyangni is the busiest station in Seoul. Another popular train station is Seoul Sangbong, located 6 miles from the center.
Car
Another option to get to Seoul is to pick up a car rental from Incheon, which is about 17 miles from Seoul. You’ll find branches of Yesaway and Avis, among others, in Incheon.
Bus
Seoul’s bus station is located 1.0 mile from the city center.
